Welcome to the Dragon Network
First of all, you may be wondering what Network actually is. Well Scout Network is the newest, and most exciting section in the Scouting Movement. Anyone aged between 18 and 25 years old is eligible to join. Members of the Scout Network can take part in activities run by any other Network across the country, and join more than one Network.
Dragon Network was set up in February 2007 as a local Network for the Torfaen district of Gwent, although it is not solely limited to the district. If you are a Networker/Explorer aged 17½ or over, or you're just up for a good time, then come along to any of our meetings or events and see what you think. We're sure you'll like what you see.
We do not follow the same formal patterns that other sections do and as such we have no regular meetings. Instead, we prefer to keep in touch via email, text message and through our forum.
We also try to arrange some form of activity twice a month, generally on the first Tuesday and third Thursdays of every month. Details should always be published at least two days prior to the event, but this doesn't always work out. If in doubt, phone/text/email to confirm.
